not catch the ball or field the ball, the batter gets a base hit.  A batter can hit a single, a double, a triple, or a homerun depending on where the ball is hit.  Players score runs by running through all the bases and crossing home plate again before they can be put out by a player on the field. 

The main reason golf is harder to learn than baseball is because of all the fundamentals and techniques that have to be studied and learned.  Both sports use some kind of sticks to swing at the ball, but the golf swing is undoubtedly the harder swing to learn and master.

Baseball has many different parts of the game.  It has fielding, running the bases, pitching, and last but not least, hitting.  In fielding the ball, the main objective is to catch the ball from the air or field the ball cleanly from the ground and throwing it to the appropriate base.  When catching, it is important the hands are together to secure the ball and to get the proper grip quicker.  It is best to grip the ball across the largest seam to get the best control for throwing.  Before the throw, the shoulders should be positioned perpendicular to the target.

On television, running the bases looks pretty easy and simple.  However, one must be careful because it can be complicated.  It is best to always run with both the heads and the eyes up always aware of where the ball is at all times.  When taking a lead from the base, one must have good balance to always be prepared to dive back to the base in case the pitcher tries a pick off move.  When trying to steal, always try to get a good jump, run straight, and be ready to slide to the next base.

Pitching is perhaps the hardest part of baseball next to hitting.  It requires plenty of discipline, patience, persistence, and a very strong arm.  The most important thing to
